Data breach investigation into legacy Infomedia infrastructure

Retriever is investigating information published this week on a ransomware website regarding the legacy Infomedia infrastructure. Information published on the ransomware website contains claims regarding data allegedly originating from systems associated with the former Infomedia environment. At this stage, we are working to assess the validity, scope, and relevance of the material and to understand any potential impact.

The matter relates to legacy Infomedia infrastructure and does not involve Retriever’s current environment or operational systems.

Since becoming aware of these claims, we have:

  • Taken steps to secure the affected environment and reduce the risk of further compromise.
  • Activated our data breach response process.
  • Engaged external cybersecurity specialists to support our investigation and response.
  • Been in contact with the police and will continue to cooperate as they investigate the matter.
  • Informed the relevant Data Protection Authority and are providing updates as new information becomes available.

We are actively investigating the matter. If our investigation identifies any impact on customers, suppliers, employees, or other stakeholders, we will communicate directly with those affected and provide relevant guidance.

We take information security and the protection of personal data seriously and continue to strengthen our security measures.
We will update this notice as soon as we have new information to share, or no later than 16 October 2026.

For questions regarding this matter, please contact our Data Protection Officer at dpo@retriever.se.
