We’re looking for a motivated and tech-curious student assistant to join us in keeping Retriever’s IT systems and offices running smoothly. In this role, you’ll help colleagues across the company with day-to-day IT and office-related challenges, while also supporting the daily operations and development of our internal IT environment.
So, if you are interested in a role where you can grow your skills while studying, this might be just the position for you!
About the position
Join our IT Support team and play an important role in the day-to-day operations of our IT environment. This student position offers flexible working hours of 10 to 20 hours per week and a great opportunity to develop both personally and professionally while studying. You will work hands-on with on-site support, internal systems, and day-to-day IT tasks, with a particular focus on helping our Danish office run smoothly while also supporting colleagues across our Nordic offices. This is a great opportunity to gain practical experience and contribute in a role with real responsibility.
Your key responsibilities
In this role, you will work with a broad range of IT support and system administration tasks, including:
- Assist in the daily operation and maintenance of Retriever’s IT systems.
- Onboard and offboard users in Intune and Entra ID.
- Work with IT security applications and related support cases.
- Support colleagues with hardware such as laptops, screens, headsets, and other IT equipment.
- Help employees with office-related IT issues and day-to-day technical support.
- Handle tickets and provide support to colleagues across our Nordic offices.
- Contribute to the administration, improvement, and ownership of internal IT systems and routines.
We would like to hear from you if you are...
- Currently a student with at least a couple of years left in your studies.
- Engaged and eager to apply your knowledge in a practical work environment.
- Familiar with Microsoft 365 and other tools used in office IT operations.
- Interested in IT systems and comfortable learning new tools and technologies.
- Motivated by new challenges and able to approach problems in a practical and solution-oriented way.
- Fluent in Danish and English, both spoken and written.
An educational background in computer science, IT support, or a related field is an advantage, but not a requirement, a strong interest in technology and a willingness to learn are what matter most.
Personal Qualities
- Structured and able to work efficiently.
- Comfortable handling several tasks at the same time.
- Positive and solution-oriented.
- Good at building relationships with colleagues.
- Service-minded and motivated by helping others.
We offer
- Flexible working hours with respect for your studies and exam periods.
- A welcoming company culture with many social events, monthly Friday bars, and colleagues who make you feel included from day one.
- A professional work environment and great colleagues, who are always helpful and supportive.
- A unique location in the centre of Copenhagen, just a five-minute walk from Nørreport Station.
- A workplace focusing on innovation and quality, giving you room to grow and try out new ideas.
- An exciting and progressive organization, with offices all over the Nordic countries.
